I bought this fork in preparation for turning in compost at the end of the season here in Denver. I tested it out on a patch of ground I cleared some cabbage from earlier and it is a dream come true. Now i don't have to use my shovel and fear cutting my helping earthworms in half! It easily handled my soil which is still hard with high sand and clay content. I'm looking forward to spending quality time with this fork this fall as I help improve my soil for next year. Am considering getting a compost turning fork from this vendor as well.

If you want it now, and you want it with personal attention and you want a human being to benefit from your purchase, then this is the place to buy from. I was looking for a hula hoe and found it here and at a good price. And Matt was so attentive to service, I was both surprised and touched! When I was confused about delivery and checked the wrong box....he called me after I did not see his note on email. WOW! Where does that happen anymore? AND, the Nijiri is the best tool ever for weeding. It is sharp, does not dull (I have rocky soil) and can get in close to plants to weed. Thank you Matt for great information and personal service.
Enjoying using the sickle to clean up around the volunteer kale patch, also cut the small knotweed out of the lemon balm patch. Using hand tools is making it possible to be selective in cutting out what I don't want. Have also used sickle to clear the garden fence line. All the cuttings make great mulch.

I just want to thank the tool merchant for helping an eco farmer like myself. This tool is a game changer. Super sharp and light. On top of it all it made it to Puerto Rico in like three days I couldn't believe it! I would give six stars if I could.

Knife arrived in good time and in pristine shape. As a former chef I know a sharp knife well, and this one takes the cake; cuts through oak like warm butter. Comfortable, stylish, and damn good at what it does, couldn't ask for better.

I was surprised immediately by the weight of it. It felt very substantial. And then I was very surprised at how sharp it was. It was works great. I've bought a lot of cheap tools on amazon, but glad I made the investment for a quality tool here.

This tool has been my new go-to favorite tool for weeding. When the tips are sliding just under the soil's surface, you can't see them, but need to know just how close you dare be. A couple of plants did die as I learned to expertly use it. It's made my must-have list.
"Odd as I am sure it will appear to some, I can think of no better form of personal involvement in the cure of the environment than that of gardening. A person who is growing a garden, if he is growing it organically, is improving a piece of the world. He is producing something to eat, which makes him somewhat independent of the grocery business, but he is also enlarging, for himself, the meaning of food and the pleasure of eating." -Wendell Berry
